The Alberta Junior Female Hockey League is coming to its end of the season which can only mean one thing - playoffs! The 2023 playoffs kick off Friday, February 17th with the North Division in the first round featuring the Central Alberta Amazons vs. Edmonton Wolves at the Bill Hunter Arena. Throughout the first weekend, you can expect competitive and entertaining hockey games including Fort Saskatchewan Jr. A Fury vs. Sherwood Park Steele. The South Division will include games featuring Lethbridge Eagles vs. Calgary Jags and Cochrane Chaos vs. Calgary Titans. The first and second round in each division is a best of three, and the championship round will include North Division champions vs. the South Division champions (best of five).
Playoffs are an exciting time in our league, and we encourage our communities, friends and family of the players and/or coaches to come join in on the entertainment. Our players have worked very hard throughout our season to make it to the playoffs, and showcase their talents and skills. It’s fast paced, and always entertaining.
