As the leaves change and the rinks begin to fill with the energy of a new season, we are reminded of the importance of gratitude and community. On behalf of the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League, we want to wish our players, coaches, families, volunteers, and fans a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the people and moments that make our league special. From the dedication of our athletes who give their all on the ice, to the support of families who cheer from the stands, to the tireless volunteers and staff who keep our league running smoothly—your commitment is what allows the AJFHL to thrive.

We are also thankful for the friendships, lessons, and memories created through the game of hockey. Whether it is the thrill of a hard-fought win, the laughter shared on long bus rides, or the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a team, these are the experiences that last long beyond the final buzzer.
