At the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL), we take immense pride in the outstanding achievements of our players, both on and off the ice. We firmly believe in recognizing and supporting our players in all aspects of their lives.
We are delighted to continue our tradition of celebrating academic excellence through the AJFHL Scholastic Achievement Award, which was first introduced last year. This initiative reflects our commitment to acknowledging the hard work and dedication our players invest in their studies alongside their pursuits in the league.
The AJFHL Scholastic Achievement Award is designed to honour players who demonstrate exceptional academic performance. To qualify, players must be enrolled in full-time studies and achieve a minimum 3.5 GPA during the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2023-2024 academic year. The top three players with the highest GPAs will each receive a cash award acknowledging their outstanding commitment to their education.
